Grilled Tofu Skewers with Sriracha Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) container extra-firm tofu, drained and cut into large chunks
- 10 large mushrooms
- 1 zucchini, cut into large chunks
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into large chunks
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup diced onion
- 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 jalapeño chile pepper, diced
- ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place tofu, mushrooms, zucchini, and bell pepper in a bowl. Combine soy sauce, onion, Sriracha, sesame oil, jalapeño, and black pepper in a small bowl; pour over tofu-vegetable mixture and toss lightly to coat. Cover the bowl; marinate tofu and vegetables in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat, and lightly oil the grate.
- Thread tofu and vegetables onto skewers; reserve marinade.
- Cook on the preheated grill until desired doneness, about 10 minutes. Serve remaining marinade as a dipping sauce.
